The Merrymoor has an wide range of real ale (Sharps Brewery - including the award-winning "Doom Bar" bitter and guest ales) and a good selection of food including a range of pizzas to eat in or take away. There is a terrace overlooking the beach for al fresco dining and a small children's play area.  The service is excellent and it's a fine spot to spend a family holiday evening.

This family run traditional 17th century inn prides itself on its selection of real ales and home made food, including a roast which is served every day through out the summer season.  With an open log fire in the winter and beamed ceilings, the atmosphere is that of a good village pub.

Situated on Mawgan Porth beach front and next to the River Menahyl, the café is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. As well as a café it supports a fish and chip take-away and in 2010 a Pizzeria. With tables outside you can sit on their terrace or have your meal on the beach 20 yards away.

Mermaid Inn


Set right on Porth beach the view is straight over the sand to the sea and there is a good range of family food at family prices.  As this is opposite a large camp site it is usually VERY busy. There is an outside terrace directly adjacent to the beach, making this a perfect place

for  the kids to build their sand castles while you enjoy a cold drink after a hot day on beach.  A great place to eat in Cornwall.
